    Finally, an adapter that works

    I tried a bunch of passive and active DisplayPort to HDMI converters and this is the first one that just worked straight up without any problems. It converted a DisplayPort 1.4 signal to 1080p 240Hz with HDR for a HDMI 2.0 (not 2.1) monitor without any issues. Other adapters could only put out 1080p 144Hz without HDR or wouldn't work at all.
