    Yes. But when you connect a hard drive to the hub, please plug the hub into a USB 3.0 port and remove all other devices attached to it, as an external hard drive consumes approximately 1amp while a USB 3.0 port only supports 0.9amp.

    Works well after a year

    I've used this as a place to plug controller dongles and a microphone into at some distance from my computer for some time. It's still worked well all this time and no issues or stuttering for about a year.
